The service has been great for us, the food also really terrific. The ambiance nothing special the surroundings are worn but we are there for the great food which keeps us coming back

the service was among the best that I have found in Tucson and the friendliness shown was delightful. My problem is I have lived in the Far East, for ten years with the US NAVY and up and down the coasts on of the USA and I am spoiled by the places I have eaten, most of the best ones were not fancy at all but had amazingly great food, so with that in mind , the pork chop suey was not what I have come to love. It was all bean sprouts and a little bit of something dark green like spinich.It lacked color which would be made by adding celery, carrots, onions, green and red peppers, and of course bamboo sprouts and water chesnuts. And thin strips of well seasoned pork. The hot and sour soup had the necessary ingredients to surpass most of the competition in Tucson , for just a little tweaking it would be the best. It needed a tiny bit more rice vinegar ,lovely chopped green onion , and a dash of real red chili pepper to be the best in Tucson. It was a winner with the tofu and shredded pork. I remember the best I ever had , if I recall correctly had wood fungus in it. It was superb. The sauce on the barbeque ribs needed to be thicker but was mighty good. I would use baby pork ribs not the large ones. The fried rice was good. No complaints. I am here to speak about pork chop suey. I want the real mccoy. What this interior lacked in fanciness , called ambiance they made up with the selling point this place has, which was the charm and kindness of the whole staff. I loved being treated like that, and I had not been treated that well at some of the top rated places. I am going back for more soup and to see if the next time I get something I can rave about on here. Thanks for the pleasant experience. I will be back.

Best Lunch Special ever!! Fast service and the food is delicious. Highly recommend, great customer service and very family oriented.

Lunch at Bamboo Terrace today with my wife & another couple. I had Lunch Special "H"; Princess Chicken, Fried Won Ton & Rice. It was marked as "hot'. When the lunch was presented at our table I first thought it was an art piece. The plate was perfectly prepared visually. The actual food was art for my mouth! The taste was better than expected. The heat in the dish was not uncomfortable. The amount of food impressed me too. The flavors of China came through. Service was good as staff were around to check on us. The price for both of us was $25 -- a nice change for lunch costs. We will be back to try other tastes at Bamboo Terrace.

Locally owned!! Love this and has always been an Asian go to growing up since we lived around the corner. Good sharing portions. Highly recommend the hot and sour soup, the Mongolian beef and pork fried rice!! The family treats their employees like family and also hire young people from the community.
